Weddings, festive ceremonies and hallmark events become even more special in the River House Grand Ballroom. Our ballroom can accommodate 240 guests seated with a 32ft round hardwood dance floor. We offer 6ft round tables of ten, with ivory-cushioned Gold Chiavari chairs. The Grand Ballroom also includes French doors overlooking the terrace and spectacular water views!

Relax and enjoy the beauty of the Matanzas River from the timelessly elegant River House terrace. As guests descend the down lit terrace steps and onto the tumbled stone pavers, they are greeted with a breathtaking view of the St. Augustine lighthouse. Our terrace is perfect for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour, or a stroll on our down lit dock. Also includes 7 cast-iron tables with 28 chairs, and 8 wicker rocking chairs.

The Conservatory, just off the ballroom has travertine floors, white walls, iron-framed mirrors shaped like palladiums windows lining the walls, antique hanging lanterns and six square tables each with 4 white Chiavari chairs. All this helps to complete the feeling of a “garden room.”

Our library features hardwood floors, a fireplace, built-in bookcases, button-tucked leather sofas, and 8 wingback chairs. Also includes huge French doors that open out onto a covered terrace overlooking the Matanzas River and St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Our private gathering room for the bride and bridesmaids features floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a private entryway, wall hooks for formal wear, lounge seating, up to six square tables with white Chiavari chairs, and gorgeous natural light in the afternoon. Access to a private bathroom is directly adjacent to this room.

The Board Room, typically used as the Groomsmen Lounge, has a 5’x16’ rosewood table with 14 leather chairs, a full-length mirror, wall hooks for formal wear, and a flatscreen TV with access to cable and digital streaming services.  The Board Room also opens up to the library for mingling during cocktail hour, if desired.
